Pound for pound, Tadiran bobbin-type lithium thionyl chloride (LiSOCl₂) cells are the most energetic and reliable batteries in the world: delivering unrivaled energy density, high capacity, and high pulse capability to power increasingly sophisticated technologies.

Our standard cells and custom battery packs are certified lead-free RoHS, WEEE EC, and REACH compliant. Our batteries also feature an annual self-discharge rate of less than 1% per year, able to power certain low current draw applications for up to 40 years under the most challenging environmental conditions. As a result, Tadiran LiSOCl₂ cells are the PROVEN choice for use in remote locations and challenging environments.

Li SOCl2

To meet a wide variety of application-specific requirements, Tadiran offers a wide choice of batteries that utilize LiSOCl2 chemistry, including versions for high pulse and extended temperature requirements. We also offer TLM Series lithium metal oxide batteries for high pulse/high drain applications and TLI Series industrial grade rechargeable Li-ion batteries for energy harvesting applications.

Lithium Metal Oxide

In addition to bobbin-type LiSOCl₂ batteries, Tadiran manufactures TLM Series lithium metal oxide grade lithium batteries for applications that require long-shelf life and high current draw, including medical and military/aerospace applications.
